Washington School Enrollment for 2010-2011

Tuition payment options include the following:

• Payment in full in August
• One-half tuition in August with the balance due in January
• Monthly tuition drafts June through May

An application for each child must be completed and returned with your tuition contract along with registration fees by Friday April 9^th.  Fees are as follows:

• Registration Fee of  $100 per child
• Processing Fee of  $10 per family if new to Washington School
• Building Fund Fee of  $180 per child or $300 for two or more children.  Options for paying building fund are:
  • Payment in full in August
  • One-half paid in August with balance due in January
  • Monthly drafts June through May.  This is separate from the tuition draft

• Initial Building Fund Fee: This is for new families entering Washington School.  The initial fee per family is as follows:
  • $100 if the oldest child is entering elementary school
  • $150 if oldest child is entering middle school
  • $200 if oldest child is entering high school
• Consolidated Fee:  This fee covers the cost of workbooks, school day pictures, one yearbook per family, activities, etc.  Payment is scaled as follows:

o        PK3 - $75 (No yearbook is included.  Can be purchased separately during yearbook drive.)

o        Elementary K4 – Grade 5:  $150

o        Middle School – Grades 6-7: $150

o        High School – Grades 8-12:  $175

(Payment may be made at registration, or may be included in monthly tuition draft)

• Endowment Fund Fee in the amount of $100 per family may be paid in full at registration or drafted on the 10^th of each month from August through May.  This draft is separate from the tuition or building fund draft.

In addition to the completed tuition contract, completed application and payment of fees detailed above, new families enrolled in Washington School must provide the following:

• Report cards and achievement test scores from the two previous school years
• Contact information from previous school for character reference

An administrator will interview all middle school and high school students applying for admission.  The Headmaster’s Office will notify applicants of approval for admission or denial.
